Hi there! Please let us introduce ourselves. Some years ago, we heared from friends that they wanted to have their own balloon pin made. They decided to ask for a quotation. With the first supplier, it took several weeks before any design showed up, and to be honest, it did not look like a balloon at all. The other party responded more quickly, but that one needed at least 6 weeks for production. Due to the long waiting time for the design and quotation, and the long lead times, it became impossible to have the pins in time, so they decided not to have the pins made.
Being huge balloon pin (and other stuff) collectors ourselves, we decided to try to do something about it, to make having your own pin more easy and more affordable. A few weeks later, we got in contact with a producer of pins, located in China. They told us about their short lead times, they showed us their fabulous designs and we felt the nice and friendly personal service. We decided to take the risk, and we ordered 500 pcs (design), just to find out the quality and the service. We did the payment, and the waiting started. Within the agreed time, only 13 days later, TNT Express brought us a package with the pins. Great quality, high details and very nice colors. We asked if they were open for an experiment, and let us find out if other balloonists were interested in having their pins. When they asked us how many series we expected to sell, we said: 'We are satisfied with 10, 15 series the first year as it is just our hobby'.
That's how Balloonpins.eu became reality. When we write this, May 2009, two years since our experimental order, we already delivered our two hundred series (design) some weeks ago. We surpassed all expectations, we've been very busy with it. We've been using 5 languagues to help our clients in 17 different countries. Our clients seem to be satisfied with the quality, the lead times and the service. For the single ones who were not satisfied at first, we succeeded in solving their problems within a few days. Now they are also happy customers, because they know that if there is a way to help, we will help. Maybe that explains why many clients stay dealing with us and some already ordered their fifth series or even more.
